Denzel Eades, PIC Managing Director, this week participated in the 2nd National Dialogue on Energy Transition with Vietnam, hosted by Vietnam’s Central Economic Commission, the British Embassy Hanoi, and the COP26 Energy Transition Council in Hanoi on 19 April 2022.
Addressing the forum he presented recommendations on how to facilitate delivery of the international investment and finance required for Vietnam’s clean energy transition.
Key recommendations included extending the feed in tariff for the first phase of offshore wind projects in Vietnam, to meet an offshore wind capacity target of 7GWs by 2030 and extending the proposed DPPA programme.
