Pioneer International Consulting (PIC) participated in the ASEAN Wind Energy Conference & Exhibition 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 28 October as a participant in the panel ‘Creating a Feasible Business Model for Offshore Wind Finance and Investment’. Moderated by Dieter Billen (Partner, Roland Berger) the panelists included Werner Grub (Managing Director, Head of Origination, Global Wind & Structured Finance, EKF); Dang Vu (Senior Associate, Allens); Ranjan Sharma (Director, NORD/LB) and PIC’s Managing Director Denzel Eades.
The panel discussed the current financing situation, revenue flows from offshore wind, key challenges, risks and solutions in the context of Vietnam’s offshore wind sector.
