PTSC Marine Mechanical Services Company Limited (PTSC M&C) has announced that Hai Long Offshore Wind Power Company (Taiwan) has signed a Priority Supplier Agreement (PSA) with the consortium of contractors between Semco Maritime A/S (Denmark) and PTSC M&C (Vietnam) to build 2 offshore substations under Hai Long 2 and Hai Long 3 wind power projects in the strait of Taiwan. This is considered a strategic breakthrough of Vietnam's oil and gas services in the field of renewable energy.

Hai Long 2 and 3 wind power projects are invested and operated by Hai Long Offshore Wind Power Company (based in Taiwan). The project is located in the Taiwan Strait - the sea ranked as one of the 20 areas with the largest offshore wind power potential in the world.

Hai Long 2 wind power project has a capacity of 532 MW and Hai Long 3 has a capacity of 512 MW (source of Vietnam Energy Magazine). According to the plan, this project is expected to be put into operation in 2025-2026.
