CS Wind opens Southeast Asia's largest offshore wind tower factory in Vung Tau

CS Wind has opened a new offshore wind tower facility in Phu My 1 Industrial Park, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. With an investment cost of USD80m and located across 24 hectares, the facility plans an annual output of wind towers totaling 360,000 tons, positioning it as the largest facility of its type in Southeast Asia. Source

 

Fugro and PTSC G&S expand joint offshore wind survey activities

Fugro and PTSC Geos & Subsea Services Co., Ltd (PTSC G&S), a subsidiary of PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) have expanded their partnership in the provision of geophysical, geotechnical, and metocean data services in Vietnam. Source

 

Vestas to partner with IPICO on wind power projects

Vestas has announced a partnership with the Son My Industrial Park Investment Construction and Trading Infrastructure JSC (IPICO) for the development of wind power projects in the central coastal province of Binh Thuan. Source

 

Zarubezhneft to develop the Thien Nga-Hai Au gas field from 2025

Russia’s state-owned company, Zarubezhneft plans to develop the Thien Nga-Hai Au gas field from 2025. The field spans 10.03 billion cubic meters and is situated 320 kilometers southeast from Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. Zarubezhneft plans to commence exploitation in 2025, beginning with 149.6 million cubic meters, with the first gas flow expected in Q4 2026. Source

 

GoodWe  opens first overseas factory in Vietnam

Chinese PV manufacturer and smart energy solution provider GoodWe has opened it’s first overseas factory in Hai Phong, Vietnam. Spanning 1.5 hectares, the factory will primarily focus on producing grid-tied and hybrid inverters, targeting markets in North America and Asia. Source
